This page brings together a growing collection of artist interviews filmed at The Spin Jazz Club, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives, ideas and creative processes of the musicians who perform here.

Alongside live performance footage, these conversations create space for artists to reflect on improvisation, composition, collaboration, and the wider cultural influences that shape their work. Rather than formal biographies, the interviews are relaxed and open-ended, allowing musicians to speak in their own voices about what matters to them onstage and off.

All interviews and performance films on this page are filmed, edited and produced by Ryan Quarterman of Future Human Design Co., photographer and videographer in residence for The Spin Jazz Club. Ryan works closely with the club to document its programme, conducting the interviews, capturing live performances, and shaping the footage into an ongoing archive of the music and the people behind it.

Together, these films form a living record of the Spin Jazz Club celebrating not only the performances themselves, but the conversations, curiosity and creative thinking that sit at the heart of the music.
