This is something of a coup for The Spin: we present 5 killer musicians who have established themselves as one of the most original bands, interpreting the great music of Steely Dan!
Led by multi-instrumentalist, Chris Ingham, the band has been selling out around the country and garnering glowing reviews from the media. UK Jazz claimed them to be “One of the finest things in British jazz at the moment”. Amen to that!

Chris Ingham - keys; guitars; vocals
Harry Greene - saxophone; guitar
Paul Higgs - trumpet; keys
Geoff Gascoyne - double bass
George Double - drums; vocals
…and they come with serious pedigrees! Let’s randomly pick the bassist, Geoff Gascoyne. Geoff has worked with, among countless others: Sting, Van Morrison, Benny Golsen, Bill Bruford, Charlie Watts, The Mingus Big Band, Guy Barker, Claire Martin and on and on…!
Multi-instrumentalist Harry Greene has worked with such stars as Bernard Purdie (who actually recorded with Steely Dan!), Jo Harrop, Incognito, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, Arthur Hill etc. etc..
Expect to hear many of the ‘great’ songs from the Steely Dan back catalogue, such as ‘Josie’, ‘Any Major Dude’, ‘Bodhisatva’, 'Rikki Don’t Lose That Number’, ‘Black Friday’, ‘Aja’, 'Haitian Divorce’, ‘Gaucho’, ’Shame About Me’…

A note about the venue:
- The bar at Tap Social is card payment only.
- We seat people as much as possible on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. This means that those who buy tickets first are allocated the better seats (as opposed to that allocation being for those that show up first on the night)…so, BOOK NOW (and also save money on ticket prices with our early bird deal)!!
