Dave O’Higgins has been one of the leading saxophonists on the UK and international jazz scene for thirty years.
He is known not only for leading his own quartets and larger groups over many years – he has 19 albums under his name – but is also known for his work with the Darius Brubeck Quartet, his collaboration with the Brazilian virtuoso, Chico Chagas, and innumerable tours and recordings with the likes of Sinatra, Ray Charles, Kyle Eastwood and Jamie Cullum.
Dave is an astonishing musician who draws on the blues and the traditions of jazz while always sounding like himself.
