Frank Griffith is regarded as one of the finest players in the UK. Born in the US, he played for many years on the New York scene, and worked with legendary musicians such as Ron Carter, Buddy Rich and Mel Torme.
Coming to the UK in the late 90s, Frank established himself quickly as a leading player, arranger and composer. He has worked regularly with the likes of Cleo Laine and Jacqui Dankworth, has released a number of big band and small group albums and been involved in two celebrated London Jazz Festival projects.
He is, as we say, the real deal.
Coming with Frank for this date is the wonderful Alex Hutton, one of the leading pianists in London and an artist in his own right.
