Little introduction is needed for one of the biggest names on the European jazz scene; it is always a privilege to welcome Gilad to the club. His work over the last 20 years has taken British jazz by storm, whether it be his groundbreaking fusion of jazz and middle-eastern influences in the Orient House Ensemble or his nod back to Charlie Parker with his ‘Gilad with Strings’ project. His virtuoso sax playing and extraordinary stage presence have made him something of a jazz icon (that rare animal!) at festivals and concerts all over Europe. If James Brown was the hardest working man in showbusiness, Gilad runs him a close second. Booking essential!!!
