One of the great performers on the international jazz stage, Gilad Atzmon kicks off our autumn programme with his astonishing blend of bebop and world music, spiced up with a dash of Coltrane.
Atzmon has been one of the most in-demand performers across Europe for the last twenty years. In that time he has released fifteen albums to great acclaim and with his own group, the Orient House Ensemble has created a sound that is unique and genre defying.
He has been called on by some of the biggest names in jazz and rock; last year, he recorded with Pink Floyd and has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Robert Wyatt and Sinead O'Connor.
