John Parricelli is one of the key figures on the British jazz scene of the last 20 years. He came to prominence in Loose Tubes, the big band that changed much of the sound and feel of jazz in this country in the 1990s.  Since then, John has forged a career that spans film and session work, as well as playing contemporary jazz and improvised music with many of the globe's leading artists - Peter Erskine, Lars Daniellson, Lee Konitz and Kenny Wheeler, and closer to home, the likes of Andy Sheppard, Mark Lockheart and Iain Ballamy.

A superb player who brings so many influences - jazz, Brazilian, funk, folk and country music - to bear on his amazing solos and accompanying. Not to be missed.
