Julian Costello Quartet

The Julian Costello Quartet kicks off our autumn programme with a bang; the group come to the club as only the second date of a UK/European tour and they should definitely be on your Autumn list of gigs to see. This tour promotes their new and well received album, Transitions.
The band comprises four outstanding individuals - Julian is an outstanding sax player, lyrical, melodic and deeply individual; on bass is the world class Yuri Golubev, who you will have heard with Gwilym Simcock amongst many others; Macjek Pysz on guitar is a superb player, known for his work with Tim Garland and for leading his own groups. On drums and percussion, and the first time at the club, is Adam Teixeira, an outstanding percussionist from Canada who is worth the ticket price alone!!
