One of the club's favourite performers and one of the country's leading saxophonists, Julian Nicholas has worked will some of the most innovative groups in British jazz such as Loose Tubes and Brotherhood of Breath, and played with some outstanding American and European artists as well - pianists Kirk Lightsey and Emil Viklicky.
Julian has led his own groups over many years, is an outstanding composer and just about has time to run the South Coast Jazz Festival with Claire Martin.
