Mark is one of the most distinctive and highly regarded jazz musicians in the UK. He has been involved in many groundbreaking groups in British jazz over the last two decades - Loose Tubes, Perfect Houseplants, Polar Bear - to name a few.
Mark's great work has resulted in a plethora of awards; since 2010, he has been named Jazz Musician of the Year (Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2010), received MOJO Jazz Album of the Year (2014), Instrumentalist of the Year (Jazz FM 2016) and Best Jazz Composition (British Composers Award 2016).
