Mark is one of the most distinctive and highly regarded jazz musicians in the UK. He has been involved in many groundbreaking groups in British jazz over the last two decades - Loose Tubes, Perfect Houseplants, Polar Bear - to name a few.
Mark was voted Jazz Musician of the Year 2010 in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards, was nominated for a Mercury Prize as part of Polar Bear and his latest project Ellington: In Anticipation has had critics raving about the writing and playing in this 7 piece all star group.
