The 26th Birthday Bash, featuring the mighty John Etheridge!

Described by Pat Metheny as “one of the best guitarists in the world”, John continues to thrill audiences across the world – as he has been over the decades, performing with such luminaries as Stephane Grapelli, Nigel Kennedy, Andy Summers (of The Police), John Williams, Soft Machine….and indeed, Pat Metheny!

Sting is quoted as having said. “I just wanted to be a real musician, like John Etheridge”

…and you can hear this guitar guru of complete awesomeness at our little club, up-close and personal! John will be hot – as ever – off an international tour with Soft Machine, so expect a night of incendiary guitaristic shenanigans!

The band features two other players who – alongside John – played the first ever Spin gig back in the last millennium, Pete Oxley and bassist Raph Mizraki! This lineup will be completed by our drum hero of choice, Rick Finlay!
