Charged Particles performing the music of Michael Brecker

The Spin is really delighted to welcome back the outstanding American band, Charged Particles, featuring the titan of the tenor sax, Todd Dickow! They will be on tour in the UK, performing and honouring the music of one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time, Michael Brecker.

Anybody that came to the concert last year at the OFS will remember how this was what could best be termed, a triumphant gig, with the band performing pieces ranging from deep emotional beauty to full-throttled power. We have been told that the band will be presenting a different programme this year, but expect no less of a rollercoaster journey!

Since their last visit, Charged Particles have also been performing with the trumpet hero - and Michael’s brother - Randy Brecker (yes, he of the massively successful band, ‘The Brecker Brothers’)!
