John Etheridge & Pete Oxley

Back by popular demand, the first ever Spin guest (and all-time favourite!) John Etheridge returns to perform what’s become an annual treat of intimate interplay with the Spin’s very own Pete Oxley!

As a duo, John and Pete have performed together in various theatres and jazz clubs over the years, always finding a magical spark of spontaneity in their playing that can’t be planned or rehearsed (check out their take of ‘Blue In Green’ on The Spin’s innovative product, ‘Turnaround Vol 1’).

As many readers here will know, John has had (and continues to have!) an international career which has seen him perform worldwide with, amongst many others, Stephane Grappelli, John Williams, Nigel Kennedy, Andy Summers (The Police) and Soft Machine.

Following a televised performance of John and Pat Metheny, Pat stated that John is ‘one of the best guitarists in the world’. Well….amen to that!
