We welcome the incredible Damon Brown back to the club; his first appearance for several years and his returning to the UK from working the festival and club circuit in South East Asia for nearly a decade.
Damon is one of the most powerful trumpeters on the contemporary jazz scene, and he has worked at most of the leading jazz festivals and clubs round the globe with a host of leading players. In the last few years, he has co-led a band with the great American tenor, Steve Grossman, and appeared with the likes of Benny Golson, Pete King, Claire Martin and the late Stan Tracey.
