Harry Greene & The Spin Band

The Spin is delighted to welcome back the great ’new jazz generation’ saxophonist, Harry Greene. After Harry’s first appearance at the club last September, many in the audience for that gig were heard saying words to the effect of “that was the gig of the year”! 

Team Spin say ‘amen’ to that! Harry is an exceptional musician that has everything in his playing: a full-toned, gutsy soloist that has groove and blues, fluid lyricism and breathtaking surprises at every twist and turn. It is for these attributes that he is already massively in demand, having worked with such diverse musicians as KT Tunstall, Marva King (ex-Prince), Cory Wong and Mica Paris.

Harry is the saxophonist in the blues-chart-topping outfit, the Tom Seals Band and he also features in the acclaimed Afrobeat ensemble, Afrik bawantu.
