Thursday 12th August 2021

To be described by Pat Metheny as 'one of the best guitarists in the world ' as John has been, should surely be enough to have you shortcutting the rest of this paragraph to go straight to the ‘Buy Tickets’ button!

(….But if you are reading on): Aside from performing with said Metheny, John has also performed with Nigel Kennedy, Eric Clapton, John Williams, Andy Summers, Stephane Grappelli, and countless others from all walks of musical lives and remains one of the biggest draws on the UK jazz scene.

John and Pete have worked together in various settings outside of The Spin over the decades that they have been working together and their performances are never without a gingerfizz effervescence - particularly given the spontaneity of the duo setting!

This gig (as per the previous Spin gigs this season) will sell out, so early booking is essential. We are opening the doors an hour before the show again, as the venue is lovely and has a uniquely stocked bar; we invite you to get there early and make an evening of it.

Tickets are limited to 50 and we are again offering an ‘early bird’ discount of one-third off, if purchased by the 2nd August; please take advantage of this - it really helps The Spin too!

Location:
The Oxford Artisan Distillery
Old Depot, South Park, Cheney Lane, Oxford OX3 7QJ
