Josephine Davies With The Spin Trio

Josephine is one of the leading contemporary jazz saxophonists in the UK, forging a reputation as a leading improviser and composer. Coming up through the ranks of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Josephine has gone on to play with the very best: in the last few years, she has been working with the London Jazz Orchestra, the Laurence Cottle Big Band, and also leads her own groups, Satori and the Josephine Davies Quintet.
Josephine's latest album, Satori, has seen her touring throughout the country with the group of the same name, featuring Dave Whitford on bass and Paul Clarvis on drums. For this gig, she joins the Spin trio for an evening of contemporary standards and her originals.
