Julian Nicholas With The Spin Trio
Thursday 9th October 2014
Julian Nicholas has been at the forefront of British and European jazz since his joining Loose Tubes, the seminal UK big band in 1988, on tenor saxophone. Since that time, Julian has gone on to work with a host of European and American artists such as the great pianist, Kirk Lightsey, legendary Hammond organist, Jimmy Witherspoon and Harry 'Sweets' Edison.
More recently he has led his own groups with players such as Martin France and John Parricelli. Over the summer, he has been at Ronnie Scotts and various festival with the newly reconstituted Loose Tubes.
Long a favourite at the club and a great tenor player.
