Juliet has worked with many outstanding musicians including Courtney Pine, Talvin Singh and Carleen Anderson as well as opening for high profile performers such as Georgie Fame and US Grammy award-winning group Take 6. She has forged a career in the relatively uncharted waters of the jazz singer songwriter, released three albums to critical acclaim and performed in venues around the world.
Her show at the Spin is part of an Arts Council funded tour entitled 'Spellbound Stories' that coincides with her new album of the same name. Juliet explores themes ranging from accidental time travel, cross-cultural love and murderous obsession!! What they share in common is Juliet's drawing inspiration from her favourite novelists and setting these themes within contemporary jazz-inflected songwriting.
