Kelvin Christiane with The Spin Trio
Thursday 19th October 2017
Kelvin Christiane has been one of the leading lights of the London jazz scene for many years. A commanding tenor player whose influences stretch from Roland Kirk to Michael Brecker, and one of the few players we know of who can play two horns at once and sound good, Kelvin has been a regular at the Spin for many years, and always wows audiences with his muscular, blues inflected playing.
Kelvin has released over a dozen excellent albums and has worked with most of the finest players on the scene - Jim Mullen, Steve Waterman, John Etheridge, to name a few.
