Pete Whittaker is the Hammond player par excellence and a regular in bands led by some of the top players of the moment - Nigel Price, John Etheridge, Theo Travis and flautist Gareth Lockrane.
Pete's rare ability to groove hard and play compelling solos puts him up there with the best. Nor is he only a jazzer, in the 90s he toured the world with two pretty successful indy bands, the Wonder Stuff and Catherine Wheel. Many televisions were thrown successfully out of hotel bedroom windows.
Whatever his glamorous rock star past, he comes to the club as an awesome, sultry Hammond dude. Do not miss.
