Sam Crockatt comes to the club with a wonderful group of musicians as part of the 2016 tour to promote their album on Whirlwind Records, Mell's Bell. Their date at the Spin being the final gig of the tour. 

One of the new generation of great saxophonists in this country, Sam came to prominence in the Loop Collective and enjoyed early critical success with his first album, Howeird, which won Best Album 2009 in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards. 

Alongside Sam are three other great musicians, Oli Hayhurst on bass, James Maddren on drums, and Kit Downes on keyboards.  A fantastic line-up for what should be a great gig.
