The Spin presents 7 truly great musicians – all of whom could be star attractions in their own rights. This band features Paul’s original writing – and you won’t hear sharper horn arranging than that which Hoop will be offering!
The Tom Green Septet
After many a year, The Spin has finally secured a second date for this septet of outstanding musicians. As supreme UK jazz royalty, Dame Cleo Laine wrote, Tom has written “Some of the most exciting original new music I have heard for a long time” . The Spin says a BIG ‘Amen' to that!
Tom Green Septet
Winner of the 2013 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition, Tom Green is a trombonist, composer and arranger described as "a new rising star in the British jazz scene" by Nigel Williams (Jazz FM). Frequently mentioned in Jazzwise magazine as ‘one to watch’, Tom is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music jazz course, and tends to grace the stage at the usual list of London’s leading jazz venues ie Ronnie Scott's, the Vortex and 606 Club.
