Big Colors Big Band
Sunday 28th July 2013
As a special Sunday night extravaganza before our summer break, the amazing Big Colors 17 piece band takes to the Spin stage, playing a mix of standards, funk classics, and the music of Pat Metheny, Steely Dan, Wayne Shorter and more.
The band features a host of top players - Ray Wordsworth (Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra) on trombone, Tom Walsh (rising lead trumpet star), Louis Dowdeswell (NYJO's current lead trumpet), and Adam Waldmann (Kairos 4tet) on tenor plus the Spin's own Raf Mizraki, Mark Doffman and Pete Oxley. A superb evening beckons - thrilling arrangements, great solos and seat of your pants ensemble playing.
Do join us.
