Roger is the most celebrated vibes player in the UK and a stunning performer, and virtuoso vibraphonist. His playing career began with the jump jive band, The Chevalier Brothers, who in the 80s played more gigs than most musicians play in a lifetime.

He has been at the forefront of jazz in the UK for over 20 years and in that time has played vibes with the very best players around - he is featured on over 40 albums and has himself released about a dozen CDs as leader. His CV includes work with artists as diverse as Robert Plant and Roni Size but it is his jazz playing that has attracted critical acclaim.

Orphy Robinson is one of the most exciting and in-demand improvisers around - his recent forays with Blacktop on the London scene as well as his touring with Nigel Kennedy are testimony to his range of vision and technique on marimba and vibes. He has been at the forefront of British jazz since 1985 when he came to the attention of the jazz world in the Jazz Warriors

Equally at home on piano and saxophone, MOBO winning Ivo Neame is also considered one of the most accomplished contemporary jazz composers in the UK. Ivo brings his Quintet to the club with a new album Yatra out in 2012.
Big Colors Big Band With Special Guest Brandon Allen
With a host of new numbers hot off the press, Big Colors comes to the club for the final Sunday night extravaganza before Christmas. The band will be playing new tunes by Metheny, Zappa, Corea and many others, it promises to be a memorable evening of contemporary big band jazz at its finest.

Orphy Robinson, Pat Thomas, Mark and Raph are 'Ting!'. The group came together after a number of gigs last year in which the idea of reworking, deconstructing and reconstructing jazz standards emerged. Orphy is one of the key figures in the development of Brit Jazz in the 90s, a vibes player extraordinaire and at the forefront of the improvising scene in the UK over the last 20 years.
