Drawing on a host of influences from jazz to soul, from Joni Mitchell to Nina Simone, Polly Gibbons is one of the most in-demand singers around. She comes to the Spin with Ronnie Scott's acclaimed house pianist and musical director, James Pearson, himself an extraordinary jazz musician.
This year has been a significant one for the vocalist, she made her debut appearance at the legendary Metropolitan Room in New York this September, released her first album, 'My Own Company' and won First Prize in the International Songwriting Competition with a number jointly written with James.
