Josephine is one of the leading contemporary jazz saxophonists in the UK, forging a reputation as a leading improviser and composer. Coming up through the ranks of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Josephine has gone on to play with the very best: in the last few years, she has been working with the London Jazz Orchestra, the Laurence Cottle Big Band, and also leads her own groups, Satori and the Josephine Davies Quintet.

Josh Kemp has emerged as a saxophonist and composer of real inventiveness who brings a warm tone, and a wonderful lyrical approach to improvisation. For this gig at the club, he brings his own quartet.

A pleasure to have Frank Williams come to the club. Frank made his name as a heavy duty tenor player, playing with his fellow South Africans in exile from the 1980s onwards. He was a fixture on the London jazz scene for many years - playing with the legendary Breakfast Band as well as leading his own African Jazz Quintet

The club welcomes a great tenor player to the club to guest with the trio for the first time. Jon Shenoy is pretty stunning - one of the leading players amongst the newer generation of British jazz musicians.

We bring the great Gilad Atzmon to the club for our final date before the summer break. Gilad is without doubt one of the most compelling performers in contemporary jazz - his range of influences and his musical vision are breathtaking.
